Ainosuke is a (presumably) responsible adult with more wealth and political power in his pinky finger than most people will know in their entire life, and he's still overcome with the urge to climb inside. In fact, he doesn't bother fighting the urge any longer.
Langa is all spread out on the cushions, and that too is inviting. Ainosuke falls to his knees on the pillows and climbs under the canopy, and -- because Langa is all spread out anyway -- falls back to rest his head over Langa's hand. It's-- Comfortable. More than he'd expected. He won't praise the industriousness of Langa and Tadashi taking his room apart piecemeal, but he can't be mad about it either. ]
Tadashi makes excellent meals. He knows the way to a man's heart.
